New Member Perspective

My wife and I are new members of EMO Las Vegas. We've heard about this club for years and just now have the opportunity to join. What an excellent group of people! We met for the Sunday morning breakfast and learned a lot just in casual conversation. We look forward to being members of this club and interacting with several different kinds of events. It's the fine people that make an organization and this club is impressive. We are glad to be aboard.

I've only been in Las Vegas since December but have had the same experience at the Sunday breakfasts. What a great bunch of folks! Our website was recently revamped and will be a "work in progress" for awhile. If you have any feedback or recommendations, please let me know via email at bigemf5@gmail.com. Again, welcome and I look forward to seeing you at breakfast!

Yesterday my wife and I rode out to Seligman to enjoy some rain. Now while that seems odd, we lived In the wet north for many years and we learn to enjoy rain rides.
Not only did we encounter a very pleasant rain but the sunset yesterday from Seligman looking west was one of the most incredible we have ever seen. The only forms of whether we don't enjoy are days over 100° with no wind and when ice or snow is present. So the ride was quite refreshing! Do motorcyclists ever get hit by lightning? All these years until now, I thought that didn't happen, but I looked on the net (that mysterious place where fact becomes fiction and actions are without consequence) and I discovered to my surprise that it happens all too frequently! Does it change our behavior? Not really. A good ride is a good ride wherever it can be experienced.
