Finally got around to getting these pics off my camera. The sand tested my skills too much to feel comfortable riding solo. I definitely want to return and do the whole thing with a partner or two.
Decided to make my own saddlebags using Pelican Cases. I saved several hundred dollars and think I'll be very happy with them.

On Saturday I took off solo exploring around Cedar City. The highways were of course amazing, but I really enjoyed the trail system up around Duck Creek Village.

At breakfast this morning, we were joined by Pedro and his son Daniel with their KLR650s. They left Colombia last summer on a round-the-world adventure and will be heading out for Nogales tomorrow morning to continue their last leg home. I'm about a third of the way through reading Ted Simon's "Jupiter's Travels." Such a wonderful book about riding a motorcycle around the world during the mid-1970s. He rode through Egypt during the Yom Kippur War. What an adventure!
Well, after alot of hard work, learning about Drupal, and too many cups of coffee, I'm nearing completion of the new website. The site combines Drupal with a Bootstrap theme. Hopefully it provides a conduit to lure in new members and organize interesting motorcycle rides for folks looking for something more than bar-hopping on a cruiser.
